Should I Use Hot or Cold Therapy
Hot Cold
Heat promotes circulation and speeds up the healing process when injury has occurred. It also helps the body recover from trauma after swelling has subsided. Heat therapy is recommended for:
  • Muscular aches
  • Stiffness
  • Nervous tension-Stress
  • Cramps
  • Arthritis
The application of cold has long been known to reduce inflammation and relieve pain brought on by the following problems:
  • Sprains
  • Bumps and bruises
  • Inflamed muscles
  • Headaches and Migraines
  • Strains
  • Fever
Heating time may need to be adjusted, due to differences of individual microwaves. If not warm enough re heat at increments of 30 seconds. Do not leave pack unattended while heating. Make sure temperature is comfortable to the touch before applying to the skin. Store in the freezer in a zip lock bag. This will eliminate any other odors in the freezer being absorbed by the Warm Buddy pack.
